Job description

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Channel Support Lead - Content / Asset / Investment who will be responsible for the assessment, planning, and implementation / delivery of the sales initiatives to promote consistent and exceptional advisor / client relationships. The successful candidate must be an entrepreneurial self-starter with exceptional people skills, a flexible attitude, and attention to detail to lead sales support for the mutual fund intermediary sales team. This role is focused on communications, content development, and supporting the sales leader in executing their vision. You will conceptualize, create, and launch value-added sales initiatives that enable sales of our investment solutions and strengthen new and existing advisory / client relationships and experiences.

Desired Skill Set :

  • 5-7+ years of relevant experience in the asset management industry, preferably supporting an intermediary mutual fund sales team
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing content, preferably sales collateral, for investment industry sales teams
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, compelling manner
  • Experience working with multiple departments and stakeholders, including sales, marketing, compliance, and data
  • Proven ability to persuade others and obtain buy-in from stakeholders, ability to build strong cross-functional working relationships with Senior Leadership
  • Strong critical thinking and demonstrated ability to create initiatives that drive sales
  • Extremely high level of professionalism with an ability to work effectively without supervision
  • Investment / banking experience is required (preferably working with investment advisors)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast learner
  • Marketing / communications experience is ideal
  • Previous experience supporting sales and executing strategies (comfortable with the administrative component of the role)
