  • All with creativity, passion, and a people-first approach, we’re redefining HR software for Canadian SMBs.

As a Channel Partner Manager, you will report to the Sales Director and play a key role in driving pipeline growth and revenue through the development and expansion of strategic channel partnerships.

Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with financial institutions, accountants, bookkeepers, independent software vendors, and HR consulting firms across Ontario.

This includes recruiting new partners, strengthening existing collaborations, and executing joint strategies to generate qualified leads and sales opportunities. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of partner ecosystems and proven experience in the Canadian SMB market.

What You'll Be Doing:

Program Development:

  1. Design and implement the structure of our Channel Partner Program, outlining cross-functional approaches and requirements.
  2. Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners to grow our partner ecosystem.
  3. Collaborate with partners to build joint business plans focused on lead generation and sustainable sales growth.

Relationship Management:

  1. Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate performance, set growth objectives, and uncover new opportunities.
  2. Address partner concerns and conflicts proactively, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  3. Partner on go-to-market initiatives, co-branded campaigns, and joint lead generation efforts.
  4. Monitor and report on partner sales performance against targets.

Partner Enablement & Training:

  1. Deliver onboarding and training sessions covering product knowledge, value proposition, and target market insights.
  2. Create and maintain up-to-date enablement materials, including playbooks, product guides, and demo resources.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and maximize partner success.
  2. Share partner insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.

What you bring:

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in channel partnerships, business development, or B2B sales, preferably in financial or professional services.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue through partner networks.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive).
  • Motivated, self-driven, and at ease in a remote environment.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Nice to have:

  • Background in HCM, fintech, or accounting software.
  • Established relationships in a key partner channel.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience contributing to joint marketing campaigns.
