Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Group Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer to drive Data Center solutions for channel partners and customers in Western Canada. You will translate customer needs into Lenovo technical solutions, build trusted relationships, and help meet bookings and revenue targets.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in CS/CE, 5+ years in sales engineering, and hands-on experience with virtualization, OpenStack, SAP, HPC, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Sales Engineer with a proven track record in leading and winning major server, networking, and/or storage business to Data Center partners and/or clients.
• Ability to travel to meet with customers and/or Industry Events (majority will be in the Western Canada region).

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain trusted partner relationships within customer account segments across the spectrum of technical users and executives to ensure mutual success and satisfaction.
• Architect solutions for the Data Center and Edge from Lenovo portfolio products and partnerships.
• Drive configuration enablement, demos, PoC/PoT, and resolution of interoperability issues to meet client solution needs.
• Represent Lenovo during trade shows, exhibitions and seminars.
