LeverageTek is actively seeking a Change Management Consultant for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Key Tasks

  1. Develop change management impact and strategic plans for organizational changes.
  2. Design and execute comprehensive change management plans aligned with organizational goals, leveraging transition frameworks to anticipate and address resistance.
  3. Create and implement effective communication strategies to inform, educate, and engage stakeholders throughout the change process, tailoring messaging to their specific concerns at different stages.
  4. Analyze the impact of change on individuals, teams, and the organization, considering both positive and negative effects.
  5. Develop communication strategies and create communications to support organizational changes during rollout.
  6. Manage program change management and communications.
  7. Collaborate closely with the program manager and sponsor to develop and implement plans.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of Change Management experience.
  • Experience in developing communication strategies and creating communications to support organizational changes.
  • Experience with enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, working with executive stakeholders to produce change and communication plans.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in change development by identifying needs and opportunities, managing behavioral change management planning.
  • Leading communication and change management efforts during transition and transformation.
  • Working with leaders to build awareness and reinforce change.
  • Creating and implementing communication plans for enterprise-wide transformations.
  • Collaborating with senior executives, direct reports, and peers on strategies and goals.
  • Assessing challenges and needs of targets of change for success.
  • Initiating change and communication plans.
  • Strong knowledge of Change Management principles, methodologies, and tools.

Assets

  • Experience in a senior change role in the non-profit industry is a strong asset.
  • PROSCI certification.
