OVERVIEW

The Change Consultant is a key member of the Client Success Team and a significant contributor to Salus Global’s vision to fuel the best team-based obstetrical and perinatal care in Canada. As a senior member of the Salus Global Client Success Team, the Change Consultant designs and develops action-based change strategies that will bring about necessary shifts within our clients’ hospital environments to achieve their change vision. The Change Consultant leverages Salus Global’s flagship obstetrical and perinatal safety program, moreOB, and uses advanced approaches to influence interprofessional healthcare teams to achieve their change goals. This role works directly with the client at identified points in the program to develop a strategy with key execution milestones. Serving as a change leader, the Change Consultant identifies, helps to prioritize, and designs change strategies and supports the Success Partner in developing appropriate change management processes and tools to execute the change strategy. With feedback from the Success Partner, the Change Consultant evaluates progress and adjusts as necessary to drive success. The Change Consultant plays a critical role in ensuring alignment of change initiatives with organizational priorities by engaging with the client's senior leadership. 2. Leverage a working knowledge of the moreOB program and a thorough understanding of the client’s vision to customize a change management program for implementation by the Client Success Specialist.
  3. Identify appropriate opportunities to include a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and work directly with the SME to ensure engagement objectives are met.
  4. Design a communication plan to ensure information is communicated to the right client audiences, at the right time, in the right way, throughout the duration of the program.
  5. Serve as the account leader for the client engagement, ensuring that the team is working against contract terms and utilization targets, identifying risks in the engagement, assessing the quality of deliverables, and reporting to the VP Client Success on a regular basis.
  6. As necessary, and with the Success Partner, assess and develop risk and resistance mitigation tactics.
  7. Support the Success Partner in creating change enablement strategies and plans.
  8. Guide the development of and help deliver presentations to senior or mid-level leadership within client organizations, in collaboration with the Success Partner, identifying successes and opportunities related to their progress towards their change vision.
  9. Serve as a knowledgeable, senior resource in identifying opportunities to bring Salus Global’s full scope of services and solutions forward.
  10. Participate in professional development activities including in-house or external training sessions and formal and informal coaching opportunities. Serve as a senior source of guidance and support to other members of the team; readily share knowledge and experience, assisting the broader team in troubleshooting and solution identification for client teams that are struggling.
