Job summary

Manitoba Hydro in Winnipeg, MB is seeking an Enterprise Change Enablement Practitioner to lead enterprise-wide change initiatives, focusing on the people side of change, processes, systems, and roles.

You will apply structured change management methodologies, coach leaders, measure success, and collaborate with business units to maximize adoption while reducing resistance. This role supports a nine-day cycle and offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree plus minimum three years related experience.
  • Or two-year diploma plus minimum five years related experience.
  • ADKAR certification is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles and methodologies (e.g., Prosci).
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and lifecycle phases.
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
  • Strong problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to articulate messages clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of agile delivery methodology is a plus.

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Enterprise Enablement Change Department Manager, you will lead and manage change at the project, divisional, business unit and enterprise levels enabling those to think through an enterprise lens and imbedding change management as a best practice. Will play a key role in ensuring that change needs meet objectives by increasing employee adoption and usage. The Enterprise Change Enablement Practitioner will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems, technology roles and responsibilities and will be responsible in creating and implementing a change management strategy and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead change management activities by applying a structured methodology aligned with the Enterprise Change Management structure.
  • Support and engage senior leaders in providing active and visible leadership for all changes within the enterprise.
  • Work with all levels of management to identify and manage anticipated resistance.
  • Coach managers and supervisors in leading the change management efforts in their work areas.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to obtain commitment to new processes and technology.
  • Responsible for understanding the impact on and ensuring effective input from a range of business stakeholders across multiple areas.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
  • In partnership with other project business leads across the Enterprise as required, assist with developing the project statement, the project plans and change plans.
  • Help lead, establish and participate in an Enterprise Change network cross collaborating with all Business Units.
Qualifications:
  • A four-year degree in a related discipline plus a minimum of three years directly related experience.
  • OR
  • A two-year diploma in a related discipline from a recognized institute plus a minimum of five years directly related experience.
  • Certification in the ADKAR Organizational Change Management Methodology is consdiered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies (example: Prosci certification).
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
  • Demonstrates problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Strong analytic and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal and the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common purpose and goal and establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Knowledge of agile delivery methodology would be an asset.
  • Proactively identifies benefits and risks when making decisions.
Salary Range

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $43.35-$59.82 Hourly, $83,070.78 - $114,625.68 Annually.
