Ranger Inspection provides non-destructive examination (NDE) services for aboveground storage tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems, including API Standard 510, 570, and 653 inspections, automated ultrasonic testing (AUT), 3D scanning, modelling, analysis, drone inspections, and storage tank volumetric calibration services.

We are seeking a CGSB MT Level II / UT Level I or II Field Technician to travel across Canada for site inspections.

This position involves regular travel away from Calgary.

Responsibilities:

1. Calibrate and operate NDE equipment
2. Perform Magnetic Particle (MT) Examinations on storage tanks, pressure vessels, and piping
3. Conduct Ultrasonic (UT) Examinations on similar structures
4. Document inspection results and prepare reports
5. Assist with other NDE & NDT procedures and operational tasks
6. Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

1. Valid CGSB UT Level I or II Certification
2. Additional NDE certifications (e.g., PT, CWB, AMPP) are a plus
3. Safety training including H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Protection, BSO; other certifications are advantageous
4. Valid Driver's License
5. Willingness to travel and work long hours on the road; adaptable to schedule changes
6. Motivated, positive attitude, well-organized, team-oriented
7. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer skills
8. Able to pass drug and alcohol testing
