Job description

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting UT Level 2 NDT Technician to join our team in the Cold Lake area. As a UT Level 2 NDT Technician at Acuren, you will contribute directly to the success of our clients' operations. This isn't just a job—it's an opportunity to grow your skills, expand your expertise, and make a real impact in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Project Details:
  • Location: IOR Cold Lake

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Duration: Long-term maintenance placement

  • Preference: Locals to Bonnyville/Cold Lake preferred

  • Accommodations: Hotel accommodations and meal allowance options may be available for non-locals

Responsibilities
  • Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 2 inspections following industry standards and procedures
  • Ensure accuracy of inspection results while meeting quality, safety, and project timelines
  • Maintain strong communication and teamwork with colleagues and clients
  • Demonstrate a professional work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed inspection reports
  • Effectively manage time, solve problems, and work independently in various environments
Requirements
  • CGSB Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing (UT2) certification (mandatory)
  • Strong work ethic and ability to maintain positive client relationships
  • Exceptional safety and quality awareness
  • Effective problem-solving skills and time management
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work at a high technical level
  • Valid driver’s license (clean abstract may be required)
  • IRATA training or willingness to obtain (considered an asset)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
