Stampede Culinary Partners in Canada is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day production operations, ensure safety, quality and efficiency, supervise staff, coordinate with maintenance, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires leadership skills, 3–5 years in manufacturing, Lean experience, and proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce and Microsoft Office. Work in a cold environment (2–4 C) and support audits and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years in manufacturing with a leadership role (food industry asset).
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing.
  • Strong safety culture and ability to promote it.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ceridian Day is an asset; experience preferred.
  • Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, support and motivate production staff ensuring safety, quality and productivity.
  • Oversee machinery operation and coordinate with maintenance.
  • Track attendance and manage shift transitions with staffing agencies.
  • Coach staff and administer progressive discipline when required.

We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity.Schedule:Monday to Friday (Shift times to be discussed) Position SummaryReporting to the Production Manager, this role will be primarily responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day activities of production employees. This role also oversees the operation of machinery and equipment used to produce a variety of food products, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. Roles and Responsibilities:Supervise, support, and motivate production employees in all areas, including safety, quality, and productivity.Address employee concerns in a timely manner in collaboration with the Production Manager.Track employee time and attendance through Ceridian Dayforce. Coordinate with staffing agencies to schedule temporary workers, approving timesheets, and assisting with shift transitions. Provide coaching, feedback, and support in a constructive and respectful manner; administer progressive discipline when required. Manage manufacturing processes, troubleshoot any production related issues, and ensure efficient operations. Coordinate with the maintenance department on preventative maintenance equipment repairsTrain employees and ensure all team members are properly trained and signed off on required SOPs.Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, product quality, and operational efficiency.Monitor workplace health and safety; communicate policies and actively participate in Joint Health & Safety Committee initiatives. Enforce and ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, GMP and food safety standards. Work collaboratively with the Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and ensure adherence to food safety requirements. Ensure all products meet company and customer quality specificationsSupport internal and external audits.Maintain facility standards as required.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required.3 – 5 years' experience working in the manufacturing industry in a leadership role (food industry experience is considered a strong asset). Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement; LEAN manufacturing experience is an asset.Experience promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture in a high-speed food production environment. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).Experience with Ceridian Day is considered an asset.Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to foster teamwork and collaboration.Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.Ability to work in a cool environment (2-4 degrees)Creative, solutions-orientated mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
