Job summary

Titan Traffic Control is seeking a Traffic Control Agent to set and operate traffic patterns at work sites, ensuring safety for workers and the public. The role requires coordinating with on-site foremen, installing barriers and signs, and maintaining a safe work zone in all weather conditions.

Applicants must pass the Traffic Control Agent course and have a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time position with hourly pay between CA$18.00 and CA$22.00, based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred (mandatory for employees who elect to use a company vehicle to commute).
Must have a smartphone with internet access for timekeeping and communication.
Able to work in all weather conditions and tolerate varying climates.
Able to stand for the full shift and perform flagging duties.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Physically capable of performing all flagging duties.
Have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Ability to pass the Traffic Control Agent course and any required company courses.

Responsibilities

Be proficient in all Agent activities.
Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones including signs and cones per standards.
Load and unload work zone equipment to and from the company vehicle.
Complete and submit required paperwork before leaving a job site.
Wear and maintain PPE according to company policy.
Keep company vehicles clean and report safety concerns or vehicle problems.
Coordinate work operations with on-site foreman.
Review start time and address of job site as provided by office scheduler.
Drive the company vehicle safely for commuting if chosen.
