What You'll Do
  • Operate, set up, repair, and maintain die tooling and related equipment.
  • Record and report as required.
  • Set up and change tooling in flow forming machines and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot chuck and NC-tooling systems.
  • Ensure safe operation, organization, and maintenance of Tool Room equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Follow standards and job instructions.
  • Participate in team activities and meet deadlines safely.
  • Maintain tool tracking data.
  • Collaborate with team members and vendors for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/TS16949, ISO14001, and Q1 standards.
  • Work shifts/overtime as needed.
  • Communicate effectively internally and externally.
  • Complete tasks accurately and safely.
Other Responsibilities
  • Promote company values and participate in programs like G&O, 5S, Kaizen.
  • Support team effort and adhere to policies and safety regulations.
  • Participate in health, safety, environmental, and operational programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You'll Need To Succeed
  • Willingness to work midnight shifts (11pm-7am, Sunday-Thursday).
  • Certificate of Qualification in Tool & Die Making.
  • At least two years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker.
  • Knowledge of stamping presses, pneumatics, hydraulics.
  • Welding skills (MIG/TIG/Arc) and torch use are assets.
  • Ability to operate tool room equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
  • Knowledge of nitrogen gas systems.
  • AutoCAD experience preferred.
