Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establish objectives and course outlines following Alberta Education requirements.
• Instruct using varied approaches and adapt materials to student needs.
• Observe, evaluate and record student progress with accurate records.
• Maintain orderly classrooms and enforce behavioral policies.
• Collaborate with staff to plan lessons and school programs.
• Supervise projects, field trips and extracurricular activities.
• Plan for Education Assistants and classroom support as appropriate.
• Engage with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.
• Pursue professional development and serve on staff committees.
