Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Surgical Technology Program is required.
  • Surgical Technologist Certification must be obtained within 12 months.
  • Previous perioperative experience preferred.
  • Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification within 6 months.

Job description

AS A CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST (CST),you would be responsible and accountable for sorting, assembling, and handing surgical instruments and supplies throughout the preoperative period. Also, provides patient care and performs appropriate segments of the prescribed medical regime for an assigned group of patients and effectively interacts within patients, significant others, and other health care team workers while maintaining standards of care.
