AS A CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST (CST), you would be responsible and accountable for sorting, assembling, and handing surgical instruments and supplies throughout the preoperative period. You will also provide patient care and perform appropriate segments of the prescribed medical regime for an assigned group of patients, effectively interacting with patients, significant others, and other healthcare team members while maintaining standards of care.

Qualifications:

  • Previous perioperative experience preferred
  • Surgical Technologist Certification required within 12 months of start date in the position
  • Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification within 6 months of start in department/position
  • Participate in department on-call schedule
