Job Type: Part-time, Entry level

Employment: Flexible shifts from 3 to 12 hours, with the ability to select your own shifts

Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene
  • Prepare meals
  • Perform light housekeeping
  • Accompany clients on outings
  • Run shopping and errands
  • Assist with medication reminders
  • Help with ambulation and transportation
  • Provide companionship
  • Follow care plans and document care provided
Qualifications
  • Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student) and Alberta HCA Directory #
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Ability to travel within the territory
  • Access to internet and mobile phone
