Are you a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic with a Red Seal certification? If you enjoy diagnosing and repairing mobile equipment, keep reading!

Join our team at the Radium Hot Springs, BC Sawmill as a Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic. We offer a full-time rotating schedule (two weeks of days, two weeks of afternoons), with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting at $48.90/hour. Additionally, we provide a $5,000 signing bonus upon start.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conduct regular maintenance on heavy-duty equipment such as forklifts, chip trucks, loaders, and trailers.
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
3. Utilize diagnostic tools and manuals for troubleshooting.
4. Perform routine inspections and replace worn parts.
5. Use welding and fabrication skills for repairs and modifications.
6. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
7. Communicate with vendors for parts quotes and lead times.

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Certification
• Experience with hydraulics and welding
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of Cat, Kalmar, and Taylor equipment is a plus
