Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) Physiotherapist - (229276)

Campbell River Hospital (CRG) – Campbell River, BC V9W 3V1 CA (Primary)

This position may involve traveling to multiple sites as required.

Reporting to the Coordinator, or designate, and working primarily with Hand Therapy patients/clients, the Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) Physiotherapist assesses, treats, educates, and manages patients/clients receiving physical therapy services and utilizes comprehensive knowledge and specialized skills to promote the prevention of dysfunction, restoration of function and/or reversal of pathology relating to the upper quarter, body function and activity.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduation from a recognized university program in Physiotherapy.
  • Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Physiotherapist.
  • Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).
  • Certification in Hand Therapy.
  • Knowledge of current Physical Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice.
  • Valid BC Driver's License.

  • Ability to observe and assess clients/patients.
