Job Summary:

We are actively recruiting for certified teachers to fill daily supply positions and permanent FSL positions throughout our schools in Simcoe, Muskoka and the Parry Sound area.

Application Requirements:

Interested candidates must create a profile and submit a complete application consisting of the following nine items to https://smcdsb.simplication.com. Please note that the omission of any of the nine items, including the responses to the three mandatory questions, shall constitute an incomplete application and will not be considered.

  • Cover Letter of Introduction.
  • Résumé.
  • Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification (or interim or provisional certificate if applicable).
  • French as a Second Language, Part 1 Teaching Qualification.
  • Complete Faith Requirements for Educator Candidates:
    • Option 1: 1. Educator Faith Testimony; and 2. Roman Catholic Pastoral Reference Form or Pastoral Reference letter OR
    • Option 2: 1. Educator Faith Testimony; 2. Roman Catholic Baptismal Certificate; and 3. Personal Letter of Faith.
  • Practice teaching reports (for new graduates) OR most recent performance evaluation/reports(s) (for experienced teachers).
  • University transcripts (for new graduates only).
  • The names and contact information of three Professional References (personal references will not be accepted).
  • Typed responses to the mandatory questions (on apply to education).
