Overview

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa located at 17 Woodlawn W Rd Guelph is seeking a knowledgeable, reliable and skilled esthetician to join our growing team!

As an Esthetician at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa you will be among highly trained skin therapists, providing each client with exceptional service and results. You are an expert at resolving skin care concerns and you will customize each facial to your client's individual needs. You are skilled at client relaxation and providing a professional relaxation massage experience. You will prescribe our professional skincare products and promote our exclusive lifestyle membership program.

We offer state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, a computerized booking system, PPE, uniforms, linens, professional products, and professional personal development courses; tuition is free.

Responsibilities

• Outstanding customer service greeting and following up with every client
• Build a treatment plan and explain the treatment to each client before beginning service
• Make appropriate recommendations on product purchases as well as prescribing their next treatment and pull products for clients to purchase
• Uphold the highest cleaning, sanitation and illness prevention standards
• Relaxation massage and body wraps
• Face and body waxing for all genders
• Face and body laser hair removal for all genders
• Willingness to learn, understand and promote all spa services and product lines
• Maintain a professional work environment and appearance
• Attend offsite promotional events to promote the spa and services
• Our Estheticians also learn the front desk duties to get to know our clients and our menu
• Laundry and cleaning when not in service

Qualifications

• Career minded and ready to grow
• Canadian Esthetic diploma is REQUIRED; diploma program must include massage training
• Dermalogica Certification (also known as Dermalogica D.N.A courses)
• Waxing and Brazilian training and experience
• Effective sales techniques and retail experience an asset
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Schedule flexibility

• Prefer candidates living in Guelph or surrounding area
