Qualifications

Canyon Dental Centre, located in Lynn Valley Village, North Vancouver, has been proudly serving families for over 50 years, making it one of the region’s most established dental practices. We offer a full suite of dental services—from general and family dentistry to cosmetic treatments like veneers, teeth whitening, Invisalign, implants, and emergency care .

We are currently seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to support Dr. VanAs, a recognized leader in implant dentistry, laser therapy, and microscope-enhanced care, with global lectures, publications, and affiliations with major professional organizations.

Schedule:

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30- 4:30

Wednesday 11:00 - 6:00

The wage range is from $28 to $32 per hour depending on experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate's work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.


Responsibilities:

  • Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation

  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

  • Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient

  • Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements


About You:

  • Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required

  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
