Job summary

ALTIMA BRAMALEA DENTAL CENTRE in Brampton, Ontario, is seeking a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant on a part-time basis. The CDA will equip the Dentist through treatment assistance and by preparing the treatment room and dental equipment for patient arrival.

The practice offers mentorship, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities for professional advancement. 3 days per week with flexible scheduling and excellent parking/transit access.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II.
• Registered or in process of registering with the Ontario Dental Assistant Association.
• NDAEB completion is required.
• 3 years of experience in a dental practice.
• Experience with Dentrix is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.
• Assist the Dentist during procedures and treatment planning.
• Provide outstanding treatment assistance and support clinical team.
• Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and setup between patients.

• 22-26 hours per week
• 3 Days of the week
  • Monday - 9am- 5pm
  • Friday - 9am - 5pm
  • Saturday - 9am - 5pm

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
• Registered or in process of registering with the:
  • Ontario Dental Assistant Association
• NDAEB Completion - Required.
• We are also open to those licensed in other Canadian province(s)
• 3 year of experience is required
• Experience with dental practice management software such as [Dentrix] is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
