Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Registered Dental Assisting Level II.
• Registered with the Ontario Dental Assistant Association.
• 2+ years of dental assisting experience.
• Current CPR certification and infection control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist with treatment planning and chairside support.
• Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for patient arrival.
• Maintain infection prevention and control procedures.
• Operate dental practice management software such as Dentrix (asset).

The team at Bloor Dental Clinic located in Toronto, Ontario is looking for a passionate, hard-working Level II Certified Dental Assistant on a basis.

The ideal Level II Certified Dental Assistant for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Completion of Registered Dental Assisting Level II
• Registered with the:
  • Ontario Dental Assistant Association
• We are also open to those licensed in other Canadian province(s)
• 2+ year of experience is required
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
