Job summary

Aspen Trails Dental in Sherwood Park, Alberta is seeking a passionate Registered Dental Assistant for a full-time permanent position. The CDA/RDA will support the Dentist, prepare treatment rooms and instruments, and help deliver outstanding patient care.

The role requires completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II and active registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants, with 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II.
• Registered or in process of registering with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants.
• 2 years of experience is required.
• Experience with Dentrix and Dexis is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Ortho Module is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentist during procedures and maintain a smooth clinical flow.
• Prepare treatment rooms and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.
• Sterilize instruments and manage inventory and supplies.
• Support a positive, patient-focused care environment.

The ideal CDA/RDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

SCHEDULE:

• 32 hours per week
