What You’ll Do
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of avionics systems
• Work with pitot-static, communication, navigation, autopilot, flight management, and electrical systems
• Perform system modifications based on manufacturer service bulletins, engineering orders, and Transport Canada-approved documentation
• Certify the proper installation and function of all avionics components
• Maintain accurate and timely technical records, including Service Difficulty Reports
• Keep tools, equipment, and the shop organized, clean, and safe
• Supervise, mentor, and support apprentices and non-licensed techs
• Promote a positive, professional workplace by leading with integrity
• Participate in our Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Assurance (QA) programs
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
• Pitch in with other tasks or projects as needed
What You’ll Bring
• Valid Transport Canada AME-E License
• Diploma in Avionics Technology
• Strong understanding of avionics systems and relevant regulations
• Hands-on field experience in avionics maintenance
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working both independently and in a team
• Previous supervisory or mentoring experience is a strong asset
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and ongoing learning
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Based in the Red Deer area or willing to relocate
