Certified Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Schedule : Full time

Department : Maintenance

Salary : Up to $59.18 / hr for permanent residents of Yellowknife or $49.68 / hr + $5 / hr remoteness premium for 2-week rotations.

Nolinor Aviation is looking for a motivated and adventurous individual to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician. You are passionate about aviation and dedicated to ensuring the proper functioning of aircraft as well as the safety of the crew members and passengers. Buckle up, because this job is for you!

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on the necessary mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of aircraft;
  • Inspect, repair, and replace faulty or damaged components using tools, manuals, gauges, and testing equipment;
  • Compose technical reports;
  • Verify the structural and mechanical systems of aircraft, ensuring compliance with the performance and safety standards of Transport Canada and the company.

Required Skills

  • You have an Aircraft Maintenance Technology Diploma and 0 to 3 years of relevant experience;
  • You have an M2 license;
  • You are flexible to work on a rotating schedule : day shift 5-4-4 (5 days of work, 4 days off, 4 days of work) or evening shift 4-3 (4 days of work, 3 days off).
  • You have a valid driver’s license and a passport (or are eligible to obtain one);
  • You’re willing to travel occasionally across Canada and internationally;
  • You’re proficient in the Microsoft Office suite;
  • You’re proficient in French (spoken and written) and have a good knowledge of English for technical manuals;
