About the Program:
Study Tours International delivers immersive English language and travel programs for international high school students in partnership with The Brook Hill Alliance. Students attend English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction and participate in excursions and campus activities while residing at a university in North York, ON.

Position Summary:
The CentreManager is an independent contractor engaged by Study Tours International. While The Brook Hill Alliance assists with recruitment, all contracts are managed through Study Tours International.The Centre Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the program. This includes academic oversight, staff coordination, participant services, housing, dining, excursions, and serving as the primary, on-site liaison to the university. Full room and board is provided and residing on campus is a requirement of the position.

Dates of the Program:

Candidates must be available July 9 through July 16 AND July 30 through August 6.

Compensation: Contractor stipend + on-campus room and board provided

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise teachers and other staff, as applicable
  • Manage academic logistics: placement tests, class schedules, classroom assignments, and curriculum delivery
  • Ensure student safety and customer satisfaction; serve as liaison to group leaders
  • Coordinate excursions, activities, and overall daily operations
  • Collaborate with university departments on housing, dining, and facilities
  • Track expenses, update communication tools, and support emergency response

Contract Terms:

  • Must reside on campus for the full contract duration (July 9 through July 16 AND July 30 through August 6)
  • Flexible schedule required (including nights/weekends)
  • Travel during program covered; travel to/from campus is contractor’s responsibility

Requirements:

Physical Demands:
