Central Supply Room (CSR) Aide - (213834)

The CSR Aide is responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, assembling, wrapping, sterilizing, and distributing complex and specialized instruments, supplies, linen, and equipment related to operative procedures. The role also includes cleaning work areas and performing related clerical duties.

Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience

Grade 12 education, successful completion of a Sterile Supply Processing course, and at least one (1) year's recent, related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of surgical and medical terminology.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact well with others.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Organizational skills.
