Reporting to the Supervisor, the successful candidate will perform duties related to cleaning, sterilization, assembly, wrapping, and storage of instruments, equipment, and linen related to the O.R. and other hospital areas. Responsibilities include picking equipment for O.R. instrument sets, fulfilling requests from the O.R., maintaining quality control of medical/surgical supplies and equipment according to established procedures, and performing related clerical duties.
Grade 12 education, successful completion of a Sterile Supply Processing course, and at least one year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
