Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent training
• Two years of successful teaching experience in regular programs
• Diploma in Special Education or equivalent with 30 credits covering learning disabilities, behaviour difficulties, intellectual disabilities, assessment, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
• Experience in IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
• Effective communication and consultation skills
• Or equivalent training or experience

• Copy of BC Teacher Regulation Branch Certificate and/or TQS card or current status information

Additional Information

• The starting annual salary ranges from $50,000 to $104,000, based on experience and qualifications, in accordance with the collective agreement.
