A healthcare facility in Barrie is seeking a Patient Access team member to handle patient reception, registration, and support. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, a medical office administration diploma, and be able to work collaboratively in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills and experience with medical terminology are essential for this role.
Job Summary & Requirements
To work as part of the Patient Access - Central Registration support team which includes but is not limited to the following duties: patient reception, registration, waiting room management and assisting the various registration pods with break/lunch/absence coverage. The Registration Team is committed to following registration, safety and data quality best practices. Liaises with Volunteers, Logistic Attendants and Clinic staff to ensure patient registration and safe way-finding needs are met. Supports and adheres to the RVH Vision, Mission and Values in Action.
