What You'll Be Doing
The Central Print Shop Operator role is responsible for printing and finishing of a product. The goal is to keep this department running in an efficient and well-kept manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to exceed their expectations.
To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time.
How You'll Succeed
- Interacting with Customers in person, on the phone and by email
- Capturing the Customer\'s specifications into detailed quotes or work orders
- Assisting the Manager in immediately responding to inquiries
- Assisting the Manager with quotes and estimating
- Working with the manager to maintain customer relationships
- Expediting work orders into production
- Ensuring the accuracy of data inputted into our systems
- Verifying and updating Account and Customer contact information
- A moderate amount of physical effort and operation of equipment / machinery is required to execute our merchandising standards and to maximize our customer experience
- There will be exposure to moderate levels of noise generated by the print equipment
- You will be required to stand in a stationary position for periods of time
Who You Are
- Detail Oriented / Accurate – Pay close attention to and review of work orders for accuracy and completeness, quality control
- Sense of Urgency – you should enjoy working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Reliable – This position requires an ability to work at a consistent rate of productivity, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- Coachable – remain open to feedback, and be able to collaborate and communicate with team members and customers, being open to suggestions, and are capable of adapting to new technologies
- Problem Solver – You will need to have the ability to innovate, keeping open to new ways of getting the job done, willing to consult with others to find a 3rd way, when unexpected challenges arise the ability to trouble shoot and consult teammates to find solutions
- Solid foundation in all things print from huge posters to business cards, and perhaps products that do not yet exist
- 3 to 5 years\' industry experience
- You can demonstrate experience in Print Production
- A consultative approach to working with our customers

- Ability to coordinate and follow Simple, Smallest, order first
- Process improvement skills
