Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a candidate to join our Cementing team in Mount Pearl, Canada. The role focuses on designing cementing operations, performing calculations and simulations, and delivering tailored cementing solutions for customers.

You will provide technical support at the well site, collaborate with customer engineers, and mentor junior team members while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline.
• Requires a minimum of 12 months experience learning cementing operations, job design and technical solutions.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license and able to provide a copy of drivers abstract.

Responsibilities

• Develop cementing job designs to meet customer requirements, including preliminary calculations, simulations, fluid design, lab test requests and test result review.
• Provide operational instructions and identify resources required to perform the job.
• Mentor junior Cementing Team members and share learnings via case histories and industry papers.
