Job summary

Halliburton in Mount Pearl, NL is recruiting an Entry-Level Bulk Material Operator for its Cementing team. Under direct supervision you will safely maintain cementing bulk equipment, load bulk materials, and support wellsite operations.

This role requires basic math, good reading/writing, and a valid driver’s license. Prior forklift experience and a willingness to learn HMS processes are highly valued. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in Canada will not be considered.
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in material handling or cementing operations.
• Forklift experience highly preferred.
• Class 1 driver's license desirable.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
• Must be able to learn and apply all applicable HMS policies and procedures and demonstrate their application into duties.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
• Basic reading comprehension, communication skills, and writing skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
