Cement Finisher

Mimmo Cement Work Ltd. is seeking Cement Finishers from April 1, 2023 to November 17, 2023.

Job Duties:

• Preparation of foundation, including chipping (manual and/or use of small machinery);
• Installation of metal sheets and cement blocks to strengthen foundation;
• Installation of foundation waterproofing;
• Use of electric grinder to smooth cement deficiencies;
• Placing cement on foundation;
• Smoothing and finishing cement surfaces.

Operational Requirements:

• Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice, including evenings and weekends;
• Ability to work outdoors in hot and cold temperatures during the months of April to November;
• Ability to lift heavy weight;
• All employees must have their own (reliable) mode of transportation to all work sites in Ottawa and surrounding areas;
• All employees must obtain their own steel-toed boots and hard hat. Mimmo Cement Work Ltd. will provide all remaining safety requirements (e.g., safety goggles, masks, etc.).
