Job summary

Everything Wireless is seeking a telecommunications technician to repair and replace defective equipment, analyze test results, and maintain service reports. You will diagnose trouble locations, install trunking systems, and operate computerized testing systems for customer lines.

Responsibilities include connecting, disconnecting and relocating cables, plus repairing faulty cables and power supplies, in a 30–40 hour work week. English is the working language; College/CEGEP credential preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1–2 years in telecommunications or related field.
• Language: English working language.

• Complete and maintain test and service reports.
• Determine nature, cause and location of trouble.

• Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
• Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets.
• Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers.
