Job Description

THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacanc(ies) for the FALL 2025 Semester – Network Administration AEC LEA.80 Daytime (Net-45) August 25 to September 15, 2025 (Monday to Friday 8:30-14:30).

TYPE OF CONTRACTS: CHARGE DE COURS (À LA LEÇON) (1-2.12)

COURSE: 420-639-AB

TITLE:Network Security

HOURS:75

SECTION(S): one (1)

N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment. Starting date, day/time, and location are to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field may be considered
  • Minimum of 3 years appropriate professional/industry experience
  • Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
  • Excellent English communication skills essential
  • Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred. Candidates must be willing and able to teach in French if needed, especially considering Bill 96 and the Charte de la langue française.

* Equivalent establishes a comparison between two official education systems.

Additional Requirements
  • REQUIRED: Microsoft Windows Server 2019 (or above)
  • PREFERRED: Microsoft AZ-900 and AZ-104 certifications
  • PREFERRED: Experience in Active Directory Administration
  • PREFERRED: Experience in Cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • PREFERRED: CompTIA Linux+, RHCE, or equivalent
  • PREFERRED: Experience in Linux Server administration
