Job summary

TRP Construction Group, LLC is seeking a CDL Driver - Pavement Marking to support highway striping operations and deliver high-quality pavement markings on transportation projects. You will join a safety‑focused crew and contribute to precision, reliability, and on‑site efficiency in active work zones.

This role requires a CDL Class A or B, a good driving record, knowledge of local driving rules, and the ability to perform simple arithmetic.

Qualifications

  • Must have CDL Class A or B license and a good driving record.
  • Previous pavement marking or highway construction experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with field equipment.
  • Able to use smartphones and field apps.

Responsibilities

  • Install thermoplastic, waterborne paint, and other pavement marking materials with the crew.
  • Operate pavement marking equipment (airless paint machines, thermoplastic hand liners, grinders).
  • Follow DOT and quality guidelines while maximizing production.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms and ensure equipment is in working order.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Maintain time and inventory records.
  • Wear required safety equipment and uniform.

As a CDL Driver - Pavement Marking, you will play an important part in supporting highway striping operations and helping crews deliver accurate, high-quality pavement marking work. This role is well suited to someone who takes pride in safe, reliable field work and enjoys being part of a team focused on precision and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the highway striping crew to install thermoplastic, waterborne paint, and other pavement marking materials.
  • Operate pavement marking equipment, including airless paint machines, thermoplastic hand liners, and grinders.
  • Perform work in compliance with DOT and quality guidelines while maximizing production.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms and ensure equipment is in working order.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Properly complete time and inventory cards.
  • Maintain proper safety equipment and the required uniform for each job.
Qualifications:
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in pavement marking, highway construction, asphalt paving, or a related field is a plus.
  • Must have a valid CDL Class A or Class B driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
  • Ability to carry out simple arithmetic functions.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience working with mechanics.
  • Ability to use smartphones and mobile applications for field work.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to regularly lift and move 50 to 100 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor conditions around moving equipment, moving traffic, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate-to-loud noise.
Availability:
  • Must be able to work some nights and weekends.
  • Must be able to work overtime.
  • Must be able to travel when necessary.
  • Competitive hourly rate of 17-25 USD hourly
