Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Driver to ensure safe, damage‑free delivery of shipments and provide exemplary customer service. The role is full‑time, Monday–Friday with overtime possible, and may require some Saturday work.

Responsibilities include vehicle safety checks, securing loads, and navigating routes efficiently while adhering to transportation policies. Manual transmission experience preferred; ELD/logbook familiarity is expected.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Proactive driving capabilities and safe operating mindset.
• Positive, customer-service oriented attitude.
• Comfortable driving a standard transmission.
• Preferably 2+ years hands‑on driving experience.

• Secure contents via pre‑trip inspection.
• Carry accident kit and XRS system.
• Transport product safely and damage‑free.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Some Saturday work (OT paid after 8 hours or any weekend work)
• Start/end times vary based on routes and production
• Flexibility required
• Longer out‑of‑province routes may be required

Job Purpose

Provide exemplary customer service while adhering to corporate and federal transportation safety policies. Ensure safe, damage‑free delivery of shipments and use best practices when individual decision‑making is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Class 1, Class 3, or Class 5 SQ (Airbrakes)
• 5 demerits or fewer
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• ELD logbook, load securement, pre/post trip, and road test experience
• Preferably 2+ years hands‑on driving experience
• Comfortable driving standard transmission
• Positive, customer‑service‑oriented attitude
• Proactive driving capabilities

Working Conditions
