Job summary

The role requires 3–5 years of licensed driving, 48-53 ft tractor-trailer experience, strong time management, and a teamwork mindset to maintain high safety and service standards.

You will operate in compliance with DOT rules, SFCR, and GDP guidelines, with an hourly rate of 40.41 CAD.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and able to drive a tractor/trailer in a safe and proficient manner.
• Three to five years driving experience as licensed Professional Class A/AZ or Class 1 Driver.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Great work ethic and solid leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional driver duties and deliver product to McDonald’s restaurants in a timely and professional manner.
• Help offload the product and provide excellent customer service.
• Inspect equipment to ensure it is in proper operating condition, fueled and ready for dispatch.
• Connect, stage and secure all vehicles on a daily basis, to route load schedule.
• Complete required paperwork and perform daily inspections of the equipment.
• Adhere to Health and Safety rules and report any injuries or incidents promptly.
• Ensure compliance with DOT rules and company policies and procedures.
• Follow SFCR, GFSI and GDP guidelines for transport rules.
