Job summary

School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for Casual Custodians to support schools and facilities in the Burns Lake area, including Decker Lake, Francois Lake, Granisle and Grassy Plains. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities include custodial and maintenance services, safety, health, sanitation, and security standards, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of school buildings and facilities. A Criminal Record Check is required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 completion (Dogwood Certificate) is required.
• Building Service Worker Certificate or equivalent (minimum 40 hours of instruction).
• Minimum of 6 months related custodial experience.
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures.
