Job summary

School District No. 91 Nechako Lakes is seeking applications for a Casual Custodian to support schools and facilities in the Fraser Lake area. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.

The successful candidate will perform custodial and maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of buildings and facilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate).
• Building Service Worker Certificate or equivalent (minimum 40 hours of instruction).
• Minimum of 6 months of related custodial experience.
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures.

The successful applicant must complete a Criminal Record Check through the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP). Criminal Record Checks through local RCMP detachments will not be accepted. To expedite this process, we recommend setting up a BC Services Card Account in advance (BC Services Card).
