School Hours: 9:00am-3:05pm

Assignment Hours: 1:30pm-3:30pm

Days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri

Status: Regular Part-time

Percentage: 10 Months

Salary: In accordance with the NSGEU Collective Agreement

Introduction

This assignment involves 10 hours per week. Please note, 5 hours are considered term hours for the 2025-2026 school year, and the remaining 5 hours are regular part-time hours. The schedule will be determined.

Minimum Requirements
  • Completion of Grade 12;
  • Completion of a Recognized Office Administrative Assistant program or equivalent education and/or experience.
Additional Assets
  • Minimum of 2 years office administrative experience;
  • Proficiency in word processing, database, spreadsheet, accounting, and email applications;
  • High level of technological skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Ability to set up and maintain filing systems;
  • Ability to compose memos and letters;
  • Ability to maintain record-keeping books and files;
  • Ability to manage various financial records;
  • Database experience is preferred;
  • Experience working with Youth is an asset;
  • Knowledge of School Cash accounting program, Microsoft Office, SAP, Aesop, and PowerSchool is an asset.
