Introduction

The CCRCE is accepting applications for the 2024-25 Casual Educational Assistant List. This is for day-to-day work at various schools within the applicable Family of Schools and Geographic area as identified above.

Items to bring to the interview:
  1. Documentation of education (ie Certificate/Diploma/Degree);
  2. CSA Intermediate Workplace First Aid with CPR 'C';
  3. Original Criminal Records Check of the Vulnerable Sector;
  4. Original Child Abuse Register.
Minimum Requirements
  1. High school completion certificate or equivalent
  2. Successful completion of a Certificate/Diploma/Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, specifically in a field focused on child and youth development, including a formal practicum placement
  3. CSA Intermediate Workplace First Aid with CPR 'C' (the course must meet Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Workplace First Aid (WFA) standards to comply with the CSA Z1210-17 Standards).
  4. Ability to perform physical requirements of the position

All employees require a criminal record check of the vulnerable sector. The CCRCE requires an original check dated within six (6) months from your date of hire. If you are selected for hire you will be provided with a letter from the CCRCE to take to your local Police/RCMP Detachment to have this check completed.
