Introduction

The CCRCE is accepting applications for the 2024-25 Casual Administrative Assistant list. This is for day-to-day Administrative Assistant work at various sites within the applicable Family of Schools and geographical area identified above.

Minimum Requirements
  1. Completion of Grade 12;
  2. Completion of Recognized Office Administrative Assistant program [or a combination of equivalent education and/or experience].
Additional Assets
  1. Minimum (2) years office administrative experience;
  2. Proficiency in word processing, database, spreadsheet, accounting and e-mail applications;
  3. High level of technological skills required;
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  5. Ability to combine speed and accuracy while working under pressure to meet deadlines;
  6. Ability to work independently while prioritizing own workload;
  7. Ability to handle multi-tasks simultaneously;
  8. Ability to set up and maintain filing system;
  9. Ability to compose memos and letters;
  10. Ability to maintain record keeping books and files;
  11. Ability to maintain various financial records;
  12. Preference will be given to those applicants with database experience;
  13. Experience working with Youth would be an asset;
  14. Knowledge of SchoolCash, Microsoft office, SAP, Aesop and PowerSchool would be an asset.
Demonstrated Ability In
  1. Diplomacy and discretion in dealing with personnel and the general public;
  2. Working as a team player/positive attitude;
  3. Adhering to confidentiality;
  4. Maintaining accurate records.
