Geographical Area: Pictou County, Cumberland County, Municipality of East Hants and Colchester County

Status: Casual

Salary: $15.20/hr to $16.01/hr

Introduction

The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is implementing a Pre-Primary Program (an inclusive, high quality, play based early learning experience for pre-school age children) in stages across Nova Scotia.

The CCRCE is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year for the Casual Early Childhood Educator list. This is for day-to-day work only.

Minimum Requirements
  1. ECE Level 1 Classification
  2. Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C

Consideration will be given to applicants who have a minimum of three years experience working with pre-school aged children in an early childhood development setting, and/or applicants who are currently enrolled in a recognized Early Childhood Education program.

Additional Assets

Closing Notes:

  1. Applicants who hold a Level 1 (or higher) ECE Classification will be paid $16.01/hr
  2. Applicants who do not hold a minimum Level 1 ECE Classification will be paid $15.20/hr
