Job summary

Homewood Health Centre is seeking registered mental health professionals to provide in-person services on an occasional, contract basis for our Enhanced Mental Health Care Program in New Brunswick.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Registration or clinical membership with relevant governing body.
• 3–5 years clinical counselling experience post Master’s degree.
• Experience in Trauma/PTSD counselling; First Responder populations is a strong asset.
• Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000.
• Proficiency to provide counselling services in French.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Utilize solution-focused, CBT, and DBT approaches to provide treatment focused on depression, anxiety, trauma or substance use related concerns
• Develop treatment plans and monitor client progress throughout treatment with the use of our Measurement-Based Care platform
• Adhere to professional standards and best practices
• Engage in clinical consultation with the clinical management team as required

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field
• Registration or clinical membership with relevant governing body with ability to delivery Psychotherapy services in your province of practice
• 3 to 5 years clinical counselling experience post Master's degree
• Experience in Trauma/PTSD counselling, including working with First Responder populations is a strong asset
• Specialized training and/or experience working with First Responder populations is a strong asset
• Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise determined by Homewood Health™
• Proficiency to provide counselling services in French is requiredAbility to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
