Job Summary

As the CBord Specialist, you are responsible for leading the operational and systems management of the CBORD platform, ensuring accurate menu data, clinical alignment, and regulatory compliance across Nutrition and Food Services. You will play a key role in supporting quality service delivery, inventory control, and patient-centered care.

• Develop and maintain therapeutic, texture-modified, and culturally appropriate menus.
• Ensure menus meet clinical diet standards, IDDSI guidelines, and allergy protocols.
• Manage CBORD data including recipes, ingredients, allergens, and nutrient profiles.
• Act as liaison between Clinical Dietitians and Food Services to operationalize diet orders.
• Support inventory accuracy, procurement, and cost control using CBORD analytics.
• Conduct audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with hospital and ministry standards.
• Educate staff on CBORD use, menu updates, and safe meal provision practices.
• Collaborate with the Food Service Manager to align system operations with departmental goals.

• Current active status as Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM).
• You have a diploma in Nutrition, Food Services Management, or Health Informatics.
• You bring 2+ years of experience in hospital food services, with CBORD or similar systems.
• You understand therapeutic diets, allergens, IDDSI, and clinical nutrition standards.
• You have strong data, communication, and organizational skills.
• You’re a collaborative team player who supports quality improvement and compliance.
• Experience with inventory systems, audits, and interdisciplinary coordination is an asset.
