A healthcare organization in Ontario is seeking a Community Nurse (RN/RPN) to provide home care. Responsibilities include applying clinical skills and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess strong communication skills. A competitive compensation package and flexible scheduling are offered, along with support for professional development.
CBI Health is proud to be an approved partner of the WeRPN BEGIN Program. The Bridging Educational Grant in Nursing (BEGIN) program, created by WeRPN in partnership with the Ontario Government, supports Personal Support Workers (PSWs) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to explore new professional pathways and bridge to RPN and RN roles in the Long-Term Care (LTC) and Home and Community Care (HCC) sectors. Eligible participants enrolled in an accredited PSW/RPN, RPN/RN, or PSW/RN program can access BEGIN grants to reimburse tuition and mandatory ancillary fees. Participants commit to a year of employment with CBI Health for each year (or portion of a year) funded through a Return of Service Agreement, up to three years. Upon graduation, participants contribute to the provincial healthcare system.
If you are currently enrolled in an approved program and are looking for a position to complete your Return of Service Agreement, here are the locations we service.
Every day will be different. As a Community Nurse (RN/RPN), you will make a difference in the lives of people within their homes, schools (paediatric) and other community locations. You will apply clinical skills in areas such as wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, paediatric care, tube feeding and medication administration, and health teaching. Your person- and family-centered approach will guide decision making and facilitate collaborative care with each member of the interdisciplinary team. You will have mentoring and support from managers and peers focused on ongoing development and clinical excellence. You will play a critical role in home health care and navigate clients and families to other resources to help them meet their goals.
