Job Summary

As a Catering Experience Manager, you will lead the delivery of premier catering services at Mercersburg Academy. You will coordinate all aspects of catering operations, ensuring each event is executed flawlessly from start to finish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise all catering events for smooth execution.
• Coordinate logistics, quality improvement initiatives, and cleanliness protocols.
• Collaborate with the Chef to develop outstanding menus.
• Train catering staff on service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service.
• Monitor labor and food costs to stay within budget.
• Maintain excellent client relationships through effective communication and service.
• Support all foodservice activities to uphold quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of food service experience, including 1 year in management.
• Confirmed catering experience is essential.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, sanitation, and cost control.
• Strong financial, budgeting, and accounting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ServSafe Certification required.
