Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Coordinator & Culinary Operations Support to organize catering services and support both event coordination and kitchen operations. You will ensure menus, logistics, staffing, and quality control align with client expectations and safety standards.

The role combines administration, operations, and hands-on culinary support, with opportunities to engage with clients and drive service excellence across events and daily service periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, hospitality, food service, or culinary industry.
• Experience supporting food preparation or kitchen operations is asset.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of service techniques and event management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Event Planning and Coordination: Organize catering services and events, including menus, orders, equipment, logistics, staffing and timelines.
• Communication with the Kitchen: Communicate client needs and participate in weekly team meetings.
• Operational and Team Support: Guide, train and support service employees; ensure health, safety and quality standards.
• Financial Management and Cost Control: Contribute to budget planning and monitor food and labor costs.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure a positive experience.
• Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Maintain food quality, cleanliness and customer service; monitor satisfaction and propose improvements.
• Administrative Responsibilities: Manage inventory, supplier orders, records and reports.
• Support for Daily Operations: Hands-on support during events and peak times; collaborate across teams.
